Ringworm Menu

Following are Some of the Effective Home Remedies for Ringworm:

  • Bathe Daily: By daily bath or shower may hinder the infection of ringworm and provide some itch relief.
  • Use a Medicated Shampoo: The medicated shampoos such as Selsun blue, Denorex or Head & Shoulders could be used for ringworm of the scalp.
  • Wear Loose Fitting Clothing:"A good way to keep the ringworm area dry is to wear shorts or loose clothing. Tight clothing also generates far too much heat. Cotton fibers are a good choice, because they breathe to keep the area exposed to air and free from perspiration.
  • Holy Basil: The leaves of holy basil are also useful in ringworm. The juice of these leaves should be extracted and applied over ringworm patches.
  • Turmeric : Turmeric is very effective in the treatment of ringworm. The juice of raw turmeric should be applied externally to the parts of the skin affected by ringworm.
  • Mustard: Make a powder with Mustard seeds. Add some water and make a paste. Apply on the patch till it clears up.
