Cataract Menu

If you have cataracts or want to prevent them, take the following simple home remedies to take care of the situation:

Drink Orange Juice: Orange Juice contains Vitamin C which is very useful for reducing cataracts. So you may drink two or three glasses of orange juice daily.

Use Sunglasses or Hat: This one is used to reduce the incidences of cataracts. You may choose sunglasses that have UV protection, that would be more better.

Control your Drinking Habits: Having occasional drinks gives no harm to your eyes, but excess of everything is bad. So, prolonged drinking will certainly harm your eyes.

Stop Smoking: Research has shown that smokers are more likely to develop cataract than non-smokers. Toxic substances from the smoke of a cigarette damage the lens nucleus and thus causes cataract. So quit smoking, so that you you have less risk of developing cataracts.

Honey - The use of pure honey is another effective remedy for cataract. A few drops of this honey should be put in the eyes. This is a useful remedy which has benefited many patients.
