Teeth whitening treatment cannot be applied on jackets, crowns and Denton , only natural teeth can be treated with this form of treatment. In this method dentist apply a gel on the teeth of patient using a special kind of tray which is designed in such a way that it can be fitted to any person's mouth. Generally hydrogen peroxide or carbamide is used as a whitening agent in this treatment. Teeth whitening treatment is applied after a period of four weeks. In the while the person has to clean his teeth with a special kind of gel for thirty minutes. The main advantage of this treatment is that the after effects are negligible. Laser Teeth Whitening: It is the most recent treatment used for the whitening of teeth. This type of treatment is also referred to as the power treatment. In this method a beam of laser light is applied on teeth, that activates the cleansing agent applied on teeth. Over-the-Counter Teeth Whitening Treatment Kit: It is readily available in market but dentists do not recommend this because of their harmful effects on teeth. If you are using this kit at home for whitening of teeth then you need extra care. Do not expose your gums with the chemical cleansing agent as it can cause gum ulcers. You are advised to take help of a licensed dentist for whitening your teeth using this kit.
